My name is Bettina Slaughter, and I’m the CEO/ Founder of Be Delicious Sweets!

You may find this funny but I started my business after having a bad night working in the hospital. After doing 7-12 hour shifts during Covid-19 I turned to my co-worker and said this is why people drink on the job!

Another fun fact about my business is that Be Delicious Sweets started out as a Candy Store Idea. Being an 80's kid coming from the suburbs we had local candy stores and when I moved to the chicago area I noticed that the kids only had gas stations. I wanted to help with that, although my business is now an Adult Candy Store I still would love to open a candy store on the South Side where kids can still have a safe childhood.
